The Executive Board will be made up of, at least, four (4) and, at most, twelve (12) Officers, all of which residing in the Country, and elected by the Board of Directors. Of the Officers, one shall receive the designation of CEO, another one will receive the designation of CFO and Investor Relations Officer, one of them may receive the designation of Vice-Chief Executive Officer and the other ones will receive the designation of Executive Officers.

We set out below a summary of the professional experience, specializations and main external commercial interests of the current officers.

Eugênio Pacelli Mattar. Eugênio Mattar is chief executive officer (CEO) and member of the Board of Directors of Localiza, Leading South American car rental company with 47 years of existence. Under his management are more than 9 thousand employees, a fleet of more than 320 thousand cars, operation of 600 car rental locations and 125 Seminovos’ stores. For two consecutive years (2018 and 2019), he was elected by Forbes as one of the best CEOs in Brazil. The company has been achieving exponential growth and leveraging even more its innovative DNA with intensive use of technology. It was elected the 20th most valuable Brazilian brand in 2019 with the best customer service index (NPS), according to the international consultancy Interbrand, in addition to being the Company with the highest Market Cap in the publicly traded car rental sector.

One of the founders of the Movimento Bem Maior, an organization that seeks to expand investment in philanthropy in Brazil, Eugênio argues that attitudes that transform and improve people’s lives matter for a more egalitarian society. He invests his own resources and takes the time to share his experience and help train entrepreneurs. He accumulates in his curriculum the role of president in Minas Gerais of the Directing Council of Junior Achievement, a global institution that takes entrepreneurship to public schools, and is one of the leaders of Estímulo 2020 in Brazil, a financial support program for small and medium entrepreneurs affected by coronavirus pandemic.

He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and a postgraduate degree in Economic Engineering from the same institution. He also participated in the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.

Rodrigo Tavares Gonçalves de Sousa. Rodrigo is graduated in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and has an MBA degree from Columbia Business School with emphasis in Corporate Finance. Rodrigo was a director at Booz Allen Hamilton and an Associate Principal at Mckinsey&Company, where he led various projects on strategy, M&A, corporate finance and business structuring in Brazil and abroad. Before he joined Localiza, Rodrigo was also a director in the Private Equity division of Pátria and responsible for the strategy of the capital allocation of the portfolio, development of investment thesis, conduction of M&A processes, also being the responsible executive of one of the portfolio companies.

André Luiz Lopes Petenussi. Mr. André Petenussi holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Católica de Santos in 2002 and began his professional career in Submarino, a pioneer in the Brazilian e-commerce market. He has accumulated 15 years of experience in the national e-commerce market, both in startups such as Oppa and Kanlo, as well as in executive positions at B2W Digital and Walmart, as well as being CTO of the Netshoes Group where he left in 2019 to take over the Localiza Technology.

Bruno Sebastian Lasansky. Mr. Bruno Lasansky is COO of Localiza, responsible for the Company’s business divisions: Car Rental, Fleet Management, and Operations. Bruno leads a team of more than 9 thousand employees, with a network of 600 car rental locations and 125 Seminovos’ stores and annual revenues of R$10.6 billion in 2019. Under the leadership of Bruno, Localiza expanded its leadership in the market, achieving a 30% growth in 2019. The Company also stood out for its pioneering innovation, being the only company to offer a rental service 100 % digital and without going through the counter, LOCALIZA FAST, as well as the service by WhatsApp, a unique app for app drivers, LOCALIZA DRIVER, among other novelties. Bruno started his career at Localiza in 2016. Previously, he was a partner at Bain & Company, where he led projects for operational improvement, strategy and M&A for national and international groups. Bruno holds a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology and a MBA from the Wharton School in the USA. He is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Daniel Gerra Linhares. Mr.Daniel Guerra Linhares has been Localiza’s HR Director since September 2017. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UFMG (2004) with a postgraduate degree from Fundação Dom Cabral (2006) and Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2009) where he studied the international module in Irvine. He started his career in Vale where he worked for 5 years (2002 to 2007) and later took over the Management Department of CEMAR, Equatorial Group where he worked from 2007 to 2011. He later joined the Private Equity team of Vinci Partners as main responsible for the People and Management model of the fund´s investments (2011 to 2013). In 2013, he took over the People and Management Department of the CBO Group until began working for Localiza.

Elvio Lupo Neto. Mr. Elvio Lupo holds a degree in Naval Engineering from the University of São Paulo in 2004 and obtained his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management in 2009. Prior to joining Localiza, he worked for The Boston Consulting Group (2005 to 2010) and Rodobens (2010 to 2018), where he was the General Manager of Automotive Retail, responsible for the management of 48 Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and Hyundai brands. In his last year at Rodobens, he also assumed responsibility for Marketing and Products. Mr. Elvio Lupo is Managing Director of Localiza’s Car Rental division, having joined the Company in 2018.

Heros Di Jorge. Mr. Heros Di Jorge has an Economics and Management bachelor, postgraduate in financial mathematics and has an Executive MBA by Fundação Dom Cabral. Mr. Heros began his career in the Company in 1987 in the Car Rental Sales department in São Paulo. Thereafter, he became a Director in the Car Fleet Sales division and then was promoted to Seminovos Regional Manager in São Paulo. In 2012 he became Retail Director in the car sales division at Localiza’s headquarters. In July 2016, he took the position of Executive Director.

Joao Hilario de Avila Valgas Filho. Mr. Joao Avila is the Operations Officer of all Localiza business units. He graduated in Mechatronics Engineering in 1999, holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with emphasis on robotics from UFMG and Post Graduation in Management from Fundação Dom Cabral. Prior to joining Localiza, João worked for Bain & Company, a strategic consulting firm with operations in Brazil and abroad, and was Head of Strategic Planning for the Arcelor Mittal Group for South America.

Suzana Fagundes Ribeiro de Oliveira. Ms. Suzana Fagundes graduated in law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais. It is post graduate in company law and economics from the Getulio Vargas Foundation, has L.LM from Northwestern University School of Law (USA) and graduate in business administration by the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management (USA), as well as courses executive branch of the Dom Cabral Foundation, Insead (France), Duke University (USA), among others. Ms.. Suzana Fagundes was HR vice president, Legal, Institutional Relations, Sustainability & Compliance of ArcelorMittal Brazil, where she worked for 12 years, having also worked at the national and North American office first line. Currently she is also advisor to the Brazilian chapter of Transparency International, being the only representative of the private initiative and counselor of W.I.L.L. – Women in Leadership in Latin America, of which it is also founder. In 2019, she joined the Company to take over the Legal area.

João Alberto Mazoni Andrade. Mr. João Alberto Mazoni Andrade is the Managing Director in Localiza Gestão de Frotas, in where he joined in 2004. He is graduated in Business Administration at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (Minas Gerais Federal University) in 1989, , MBA at the University of Texas in Austin, (1998 to 2000), and has participated, in 2012, in a management program in Kellogg School of Business. Mr. Andrade began his career as an entrepreneur, as a Director Partner in two companies. In 2000 he has joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants where he has worked on several projects, especially in the automotive industry and financial services. He has begun in Localiza Gestão de Frotas as Sales Director, than Operations Director, and now occupies the Executive Officer position.
